Product Info

speckled-rust-vignette

The three main advantages in using Speckled Rust® when compared to real rusted roofing are:

  1. Speckled Rust® arrives looking weathered. You don NOT have to wait for it to weather like real corten.
  2. Real Corten will have rust run off and rust stains. Speckled Rust® is a painted product so you will NOT have these problems.
  3. Standard Paint Warranty With Speckled Rust®. Real Rusted Steel in Corten or Bare Cold Rolled does NOT have a WARRANTY.

Speckled Rust® can be used in exterior or interior applications. It is a perfect solution for an interior application as it arrives looking weathered. With real Corten you would have to pre-rust it and than seal it. This takes time and money. You eliminate all of these problems by using Speckled Rust® instead of Corten.

If you are interested in this color I would highly recommend requesting a 7/8" Corrugated sample panel in Speckled Rust®. You really need to see this panel up close to appreciate the beauty and authenticity of this paint finish.
